The house (bach in kiwi slang) in which we spent the weekend is only 50m from the beach. We were eight people in total. Obviously, there were not enough beds for all of us so I slept on the sofa in the living room right next to the fire place and when I opened my eyes in the morning I could see the ocean. It's something I could definitely get used to :)

After some good parties on Friday and Saturday night we just relaxed on Sunday and read on the sofa or went for a stroll along the beach.
After all the hassle I had had with my visa extension in the last couple of weeks this was just what I needed.
