Most of our last full day on the South Island we spent driving from Dunedin back to Christchurch. We only stopped briefly to have a quick look at the Moerake Boulders, some round rocks that lie on a beach. To be honest, after all the impressive sights we had seen over the last two weeks, these rocks did not get us too excited. I guess, we were just saturated and needed a break before we could appreciate wonders of nature again:)

In the evening we still finished off our last drops of drinks and crumbs of food and then closed our eyes one final time in the van.

The next day we dropped off the van, headed for the airport and flew back to Auckland - Home, sweet Home after two amazing weeks on the road.
