Today we wanted to go Kayaking. I started the day with an early swim in Onetahuti Bay. At that time there was a seal hunting for fish no more than 50m from the beach and I decided to join it. I did not want to disturb it though so I did not go any closer than 20m but it was still an amazing experience with the sun rising over the horizon.

After a short breakfast we dropped off our backpacks on a water taxi and boarded our kayaks. The trip started off at Onetahuti beach and took us around Tonga Island where we could take a good look on some of the seals on the rocks or in the water. On our way down to Anchorage we explored most of the lagoons and rivers along the way. All in all, it was a really peaceful and relaxing day after the last day's exhausting hike. Especially the chocolate mud cake that our guide Clair brought for lunch was greedily accepted. (See photos:))

From Anchorage we still had to do a 30 minute walk to Te Pukatea Bay, our camp site for the night. Although I had already been swimming a couple of times today, I just could not resist the cristal clear water in this beautiful bay.

The last picture is a detailed map of the park.
