On my first visit to Rangitoto I did not have much time on the island itself because I was busy trying to get there by kayak most of the time. Besides, the disposable cameras I carried that day kind of screwed up most of the pictures I took of the fantastic view from the summit. Therefore I decided to go again - this time by ferry. I went to the West side of the island first (lighthouse pictures) and from there went towards the island centre and up to the summit. On the view platform on the top I met some more Germans who had also decided to go on a daytrip. Actually, there were a total of 12 people on the top, 8 of them were German. I guess, Mallorca is conquered so we needed a new objective:)
